Audit Reconsideration
If you have been audited and you are presented with a deficiency that you believe to be excessive, the IRS Collection Division may allow you an opportunity to present necessary documentation to substantiate disallowed items during the original audit process. Audit reconsideration is discretionary. Unfortunately, a large majority of those who undergo audits pay all or part of these assessments because they do not understand how to request audit reconsideration or do not realize that audit reconsideration is available. Esquire Group will accurately file all of the necessary documents in a timely manner to improve your chances of a favorable reversal by the IRS.
