Filing of Delinquent Tax Returns
If, for any reason, you have failed to file tax returns, Esquire Group can help you prepare and file those delinquent returns. If you do not have the income information from the years you failed to file, we can usually retrieve that information from the IRS. Occasionally when a return is not filed in a timely manner and criteria are not met, the IRS can file a “substitute for return” on your behalf. This return does not take into account most of the deductions, exemptions, and credits that you are entitled to. When this happens, we can help you “back out” those returns and prepare and file the proper returns. Whatever the situation, we will guide you through the complex rules and regulations to get you back into compliance with the IRS.
